Fort Wayne Freeze game

The Fort Wayne Freeze police hockey team have a game this Saturday, December 20th, to raise money for Honor Flight Northeast Indiana. The game is at 3pm in the Coliseum arena. The team will be taking donations, selling raffle tickets for prizes to be given aware later at the Komets game, and also selling tickets to the Komets game for that night. To coincide with the Fort Wayne Komets military night, and to pay tribute to Honor Flight, the Freeze will be sporting new military jerseys. The Freeze will be playing the FBI Chicago Hockey Club for the first time.

Honor Flight Northeast Indiana is a local non-profit organization affiliated with the national Honor Flight Network. Their mission is to send veterans on an all expense paid trip to Washington DC to see the monuments, museums and memorials built and dedicated in their honor.

The game is free and open to the public, with donations being collected before and throughout the game. Doors will be open at 2:15 P.M., and the puck drops at 3 P.M..
