What a great way to show all the things this program does. It is amazing what you do with it Blake!

@Who/suz It is very telling about the world around us, news coverage/video games/many families effected, that kids as early as 4 think of protecting us as using guns and killing others. Some were very touching about caring if they make it home to see their families. Many of our students still wonder if the troups get to play with friends while over seas or if they are lonely. Children are not sheltered (like I was) these days.

Man do I feel old after typing about "things back in my day!"

I sat here today and took the time to read the messages from the kids that are from all over he city in differant schools. It is amazing to read these messages, some were very heart felt and some were kinda funny. As part of the Komet Kare program that Blake started on his own and with the help of a great hockey team The Fort Wayne Komets it is very much appreciated. As being a member of our amrmed forces for over 20 years it is very hard to describe the feeling you have when you receive these kind of items when you are away from home and in a war zone. It is nice to know that the people poeple back home are thinking about you when you are gone. Again I want to give a BIG THANK YOU to all the teachers and students for there pictures and writings for our troops this year. I hope all of you have a wonderful safe and wonderful holiday season. If there is anything you would like to know about please contact me at steve.kingsley@frontier.com.

Steve, it's you (and everyone else that serves) that deserves the HUGE THANK YOU! Words are not enough to describe how we feel.
