Just like the players, I am taking a couple of days off here (the stories are all ready to be printed), so I'm going to wish everyone Merry Christmas a few days early. Hope you all have a wonderful time with your families. I also think we've already been given a pretty nice gift so far with this hockey season. Very interested to see how the rest of the year goes. Thankful not for the wins, but for a great group of guys to work with every day. So far, it's been one of the most memorable of my 25 years covering the team.
Thanks again so much for everyone who contributed to Komets Kare Package. It is always a very humbling experience to see the generosity 0f Fort Wayne so close to the holidays. Again it was a wonderful experience.
