Another well deserved loss.

This is the same group(line-up) that went southeast and including Evansville have gone3-0-1 in past 4 games prior to K-Zoo. This is what Blake was taking about is a post a few days ago when the scoring touch goes south. Have to win the low scoring games. Sometmes the other teams goaltender stands on their head, sometimes the other team game-plans well( ref. Alan)

To go 37 games deep inthe season before losing two games in a row is an accomplishment. Its going to happen. But its also now a test for the coach.

Well said RG2!

Maybe it is good the boys will have this bad taste in their mouths for the break to come out fighting for the second half...no matter who is here or called up.

As I said in one of the Facebook groups, this team needs to win faceoffs in its O-zone.  Especially on the power play.  How many times last night did our guys get thrown out of the circle or lose faceoffs and then have the puck cleared.  We wasted so much time trying to reenter our zone that it didn't matter that we had 6 pp chances.  Alot of those face-off woes come from the absence of our 2 best faceoff men in Crowder and Faille.  As last weekend indicated and this weekend emphasized, when you are missing your scoring forwards, you have to take advantage of the power play chances you get to make up the difference.

The most observant post of the last two weeks. That's everything in a nutshell, right there. Fix that and a lot of the rest takes care of itself.

Congrtaulations, Blake, for being named to the "Hall of Fame".

By the way, if I had my choice whether I'd rather be recognized for covering 1000 Komet games or being inducted to the Hall of Fame, I'd take the Hall of Fame recognition every time!
