I like Meurs speed, hands and creativity with the puck. His maturity for the pro game is whats lacking. They say the body follows the mind. Coaches need to enforce him to play smart. Not emotional.

I think his style of play will be missed because he is one of the few who takes the body and is aggressive.  Of course some of his aggressive play lead to some bad penalities but he did give us someone who played with a chip on his shoulder.

That's the problem, Sgriffith, he quit doing that except to take stupid penalties. Remember the posting "An old trick?" Somebody else noticed, too. He quit playing.

Well it was evident something was going on.  Now, both Frazee and Meurs (both part of the Wheeling fiasco) are gone.

With the forwards becoming healthy, maybe the Komets told the Monsters that he was going to sit.  Usually that isn't the way these things work.

Crowder, Ouellet, Thomas are activated.  Higgs and Petryk on reserve.  I feel a little sorry for Higgs.  I would like to see him get a strong chance.  But I understand.  When/if Faille returns, it will get even more interesting.

One thing I think I've learned more about the ECHL this year is that, until about Thursday, you really never know who you're going into the weekend with.

I would love to see Faille return, but for now I'd feel better with Marin and Leach back.

So are you saying his recall was more about Lake Erie finding another home for him?

Maybe more about wanting to sit down and have a heart-to-heart. We'll see.
