Game time decisions.

Hey, without being in the trainers room, without knowing when Guggenberger arrived (or arrives) this is going to be some interesting night.  Just seeing who comes out for warmups is going to be special.

IF (and I capitalized it on purpose) Guggenberger feels comfortable about starting tonight (proper rest, adrenalin, comfortability with a new system and team), then I'm all in.  If my memory serves me correctly, after he lost 3-2 here on 2-21, they went to  Toledo the next day and got beat 12-0.  He gave up 9 goals.  All things being equal, I bet he would just love to get another crack at them.

Szydlowski, Tam?  Would love to see both in the lineup tonight.

If Szydlowski plays, I would like for him, Clarke, and Embach reunited.  Put Perlini and Pistilli together with Ouellet.  Choose your own third line.

But regardless, this trade has inspired some new hope and re-energized Komet fans.

Oh, I forgot.  I have expressed myself (more than once) regarding goaltender Jeff Wyer.  South Carolina picked him up and I'll be paying attention to see how well he does.

Well, biggest game of the year so far.  Hats off to the K's for making the goaltender trade.  I am very interested to see how we come out tonight.  I would like to think that we would come out physical on our own home ice against a team that isn't the biggest in the league.  We play so much better at home when we finish our checks and take the game to our opponents.

I will also be interested to see how we run our PK against their PP.  A few games ago against Evansville we attacked the puck and were very effective on the PK.  I personally hate when we sit back and just let them fire away.  Hopefully we will see a more aggressive PK.  We already know that sitting back does not work against Toledo so I would assume that we would change that up a little tonight.

Go K's!

Guggenberger might be itching for a piece of Toledo...as they tuned him out for a nine-spot a few weeks back.

...but I'd have the back-up warm...just in case they have his number again.
