Tam has played two games. Does the fact that he's been on an injured reserve list qualify him for the playoffs? Does he still have to play in the mandatory six(?) games?
With the possibility of Beaupre being sent back for the playoffs, it might leave the Komets with a nice problem. It always seems that teams are looking for defensemen. Does this afford the Komets with an opportunity to trade one away for a "need"?
If Tam is able to come back, and no one else gets injured or called up (that would seem like a miracle, for sure), the K's are going to have a plethora of defensemen.
So, how many players do playoff teams put on their rosters?
Except for Heard, I'd rather go into the playoffs with our own forwards ( meaning Szydlowski, Embach, and Faille) and not the Lake Erie gang of Petryk and Meurs. To be honest, I don't think Lake Erie will want to send heard back.

Doubt an AHL team will take a chance on a guy coming off shoulder surgery, but you never know.

A while ago I thought someone posted about Faille either having to be signed today by Texas or sent back down, does anyone have any clarification because I see nothing happening. On another note who do you guys think will sit for our fifth veteran if/when Crowder returns.
My thoughts are to sit Krug if Faille isnt sent back down. I think Clarke with Syd and Emmer is very dangerous. I also think Crodwer Pistilli and Perlini is gonna be a huge line as well. What are some of your thoughts?
PS: by no means am I a Schrock hater. I believe in everything Blake has said he is on the ice as a leader and I believe in him. I just think its hard to not sit him with some of these other players we will have. Just a lot of very tough coaching decisions.

We are going to be a very tough team to play against. If Heard, Petryk and Meurs get sent back ( LE not make playoffs)then this could be a crazy ride. Based on what you said( line wise) this team reminds me of 92-93 team. Two great scoring lines and a great checking line. Wehave three D that can score.
