Any chance the hit on Syd gets reviewed?
As bad as it looked, it seemed like a legal hockey play to me. As well as the Heard hit while going to the net. If the jersey colors were switched, we would be yelling at Toledo to stop whining. It's hard to try to see it as an impartial person, but you have to try.
Agree with Hoss. Heard should have skated with is head up!
I believe that that hit on Heard would have been legal except that it clearly targeted his head. If the defenseman's arms had been down and hit Heard the chest or shoulders it would have been fine. It still would have been a nasty hit, but it would have been legal.
