Who, how long and why?
I'm hoping the K's have had time to rest to play a physical or speed game. Toledo is coming off a hard fought 7 game series vs Wheeling. So I'm kinda hoping that they don't have that extra pep in their step. Considering they will be playing 4 games in 5 nights.
Komets in 6. I have alot of confidence in Will, we have a team full of guys who can score at any given time including the defenseman. Toledo had a heard fought series with Wheeling and I think in the long run it will give the Komets the edge.
I will be cheering loud in Toledo, I hope alot of folks can make the game and show the guys once again we are behind them 100%! I pretty sure they surprised to see so many Komet faithful in Kzoo! Lets do it again.
Let's Go Komets!!!
I'm saying Komets in 6 with us taking game 1,3,5, and 6.
Komets in 5. Toledo has to be exhausted. We are rested and will play a more physical game to wear them down even further. Lerg steals a game for them at some point.
I think this series comes down to the format of the games. If this series were a 2-3-2, only 2 of the first 3 games would be played in Toledo. I'm not positive the Komets can win 1 out of 2 in Toledo, or for that matter win 3 straight games at home in a row. If the 2-3-2 format were used, I would pick Toledo in 7. However, I am positive the Komets can win one out of 3, and can win if there is a gap in games at home. This gives the Komets an opportunity they wouldn't have otherwise to close out a series at home in game 6. Therefore I see the Komets winning one of the 3 games in Toledo, holding home court the rest of the way, and winning in 6 games.
Correction. 2 of the first 5 games. Where's a copy editor when you need one?
Suz - Komets in 6...will take first game in Toledo....rest of games fall in place
Who - Komets in 7 and they need to play Nagle sometime.....do not see Will playing all games...feel all will hold serve in their respective cities except for game 7
So with Crowder out and Clarke in...how is the 2nd line put together? Do they simply substitute one for the other? Does Perlini play?
To me, the 2nd line is the line that has to continue putting up points. Crowder being out doesn't make me very comfortable, yet Clarke surely knows the rink and has had success there.
I think Toledo's defense is better (wouldn't have been if Leach could play).
I know Toledo has got to be fatigued. Imperitive for the Komets to come out hard and make the Toledo players chase the puck. Will the Komets "show up" for the first period? Has Will "recharged" his batteries?
Too many questions to be answered for a prediction.
