Heading into tonight's game, the Komets are 10-4-1 all-time on Friday the 13ths. ... The Komets are 13-7-3 when Mathieu Curadeau is in the lineup, and he has scored at least a point in 20 of the 23 games.
Komets defenseman Guy Dupuis had some incredibly strange statistics over the last two weeks. During games Friday and Sunday, the team captain was on the ice for nine of the 11 goals scored. He was playing when three of the four goals were scored in the Komets' 3-1 win over Flint and was on the ice for six of the seven in a 4-3 loss to Muskegon. Dupuis was even on the plus-minus ratio for the two games.
Almost as strange, Dupuis, who leads the Komets in playing time, wasn't on the ice for any goals in the two games before that, a 4-0 loss to Port Huron and a 4-0 win over the IceHawks.
