What Al had to say

Komets coach Al Sims after Friday's 5-3 loss.

``Not good enough obviously. You can't give up three goals in the third period and expect to win a hockey game.

``They pressured us everywhere and our defense couldn't handle the pressure, and neither could our forwards. That was the difference.''

On the PK: ``It was terrible. We gave up three power-play goals. It was the worst it's been all year.''

On Reiter: ``Hot and cold, I guess. He made some great saves and probably wishes he had a couple of them back.''

Start of the third: ``That goal killed us. He's coming down off the wing from the boards, and the puck  hits the middle of the net. It's deflating obviously. Rides made a lot of big saves for us in the second period and kept us in, especially on that power play. We got that one back, but we broke down twice more. A bad too-many-men on the ice penalty that shouldn't have happened. Every time they went on the power play we were thinking, `Geeze, are they going to score again?' It was tough because we had a power play at that time.''

On Lardner: ``He was great. Blocking shots, he scored a goal, I don't know what else he could have done. I thought he was one of our better forwards.''

Did they trap more tonight: ``No, we didn't trap, we didn't trap at all.
