Well, if they feel the need to change their IP addresses... You've got to wonder.
Please be aware, though, things are going to be much stricter around here, more like they've been the last week or two. If we have to, I have been authorized to go as far as approving every post before it can be seen. I certainly don't want to do that, because some day I'd like to, you know, have a life or actually sleep more than five hours at a time, go on a date without wondering who's starting a war on the blog or even go more than four hours without checking out every post.
But I won't hesitate to take whatever measures necessary to make sure the blog doesn't go back to the way it was. Friend or foe or whatever, I'll delete first and ask questions later if I have to. It's simply not worth the extra stress in my life.
That said, so far I am very thankful for everyone's input over the past two weeks. I believe everyone is enjoying it more, and it's been fun for me to read the blog again as well and I thank you for that. It seems we've had a much more diverse crew of posters and the dialogue has been much friendlier and respectful even when disagreeing. It's been nice to see some old friends return, and I'm thrilled that they feel comfortable posting again. The numbers have also been extremely strong. Thank you all.
Speaking of the numbers, I'm hoping The News-Sentinel is going to be able to announce a contest in the next few days strictly for bloggers. We're approaching a milestone and I'm hoping we can do something special to celebrate that. I think you'll enjoy it.
