Black team beat the White 3-0 in the scrimmage with Dustin Molle scoring off an assist from Bobby Chaumont, Jean-Michel Rizk from Jordy Trottier and Stephon Thorne from Colin Chaulk and Eric Yngwe.
They are allowing fights in camp, but there weren't any... Tom Mele might have been the best player on the ice. He was double-shifting and never looked tired even though he was delivering most of the hits. He is the best skater so far in a camp full of good skat... Brandon Warner and Frankie DeAngelis were one defensive pairing... Jesse Bennefield did not play because he's got skate bite from his new skates... There was a lot of coaching going on from the vets like P.C. Drouin, Leo Thomas and Chaulk... The line of Chaumont, Rizk and Trottier was by far the best on the ice. They seemed to get a scoring chance every shift, usually a very good one...
