One-Timers:
-The Eagles 8-1 win marks the largest margin of victory in any playoff win for the franchise and the eight goals are the most scored in any playoff game in their eight-year history.
-Adam Chorneyko's Game 6 hat trick was the fourth in the Eagles playoff history. Chorneyko finished with three goals and an assist giving him a league-leading 27 points (9-18=27).
-Friday's Game 7 will be the fifth in the history of the CHL Finals and the first since 2004 when Laredo defeated the Mudbugs 3-2 in overtime. The home team has won three of the previous Finals Game 7's.
-Colorado is 4-0 all-time in Game 7's winning one Game 7 already this season when they beat the Rapid City Rush, 1-0, in Game 7 of the Turner Conference Finals.
-Bossier-Shreveport is 0-4 all-time in Game 7's losing twice in overtime with three of their four losses on the road.
-An Eagles victory would make them the first CHL team to win a pair of Game 7's in the same playoff season with one of the two wins coming in the Finals.
-Colorado head coach Chris Stewart is looking to become the second CHL coach to win four league championships joining Doug Shedden who won twice with Wichita and twice with Memphis. With a win on Friday night, Stewart would have three titles with the Eagles and one with Huntsville.
-The Mudbugs have the most titles of any CHL/WPHL team with three (1999, 2000 and 2001).
-Colorado's shorthanded goal on Wednesday night gives them five during the post-season, the most of any CHL team.
-Mudbugs forward Nick Layton had his eight-game point streak end in Wednesday's Game 6.
-Bossier-Shreveport forward Steven Crampton has scored goals in back-to-back games for the first time during the post-season and has 13 points overall (6-7=13) in 20 playoff games.
-Colorado forward Scott May has three goals and three assists in his last four games.
-After missing on seven combined power plays in Game's 4 and 5, the Eagles connected on their first two man advantage chances in Game 6 finishing the game 2 for 4.
-Aaron Schneekloth's game winning goal in Game 6 ended a 10-game scoreless slump for the two-time CHL Most Outstanding Defenseman (2009, 2010).
-Colorado's Steve Haddon's two assists on Wednesday night matched his point total in the previous 10 games combined. The slowdown offensively came after helping carry the team through the first two rounds of the playoffs where he scored five goals with five assists in the Eagles first 10 post-season games.
-Eagles net minder Kyle Jones has stopped 56 of 57 shots in the last two elimination games he has played in earning a shutout in Game 7 of the Turner Conference Finals versus Rapid City and allowing just one goal in Game 6 versus Bossier-Shreveport.
