You guys wanted some numbers last week on potential players to have their numbers retired. These seemed like the best candidates to me and are in alphabetical order.
* Dale Baldwin, played seven years and ranks 8th on the all-time games played list with 589, 17th with 150 goals, 10th in assists with 302, 15th in career points with 452, 2nd with 1,589 penalty minutes.
* John (Jumbo) Goodwin, played eight years and ranks 13th in games played with 538, 9th with 224 goals, 5th with 432 assists, 5th in career points with 656, 6th in career playoff scoring, 15th in career playoff games. Won Turner Cups in 1963 ad 1965. Played in 3 all-star games.
* Ron Leef, played five seasons and ranks 23rd with 404 games, ranks 11th with 213 goals, 12th with 290 assists, 13th with 503 points.
* Carey Lucyk, played eight years and ranks 7th in games played with 665, 43rd with 133 assists, , 13th with 745 penalty minutes. 6th in career playoff games. Won Turner Cup in 1993.
* Terry McDougall, played seven years and ranks 10th on the all-time games played list with 476, 6th in goals with 278, 3rd in assists with 461, 3rd in career points with 739. Also 2nd in career playoff points and 9th in playoff games played. Played in 3 all-star games.
* Cal Purtinton, played nine years, and ranks 14th in games played with 524, 36th with 148 assists, 3rd with 1,306 penalty minutes. Won Turner Cups in 1965 and 1973. 17th in career playoff games.
* Barry Scully, played six years, ranks 21st with 455 games, ranks 4th with 327 goals, 18th with 235 assists, 8th in career points with 562, 4th in career playoff points, 10th in career playoff games.
* Ron Ullyot, played seven years and ranks 17th with 476 games played and also coached four years, 41st with 138 assists, Won Turner Cup in 1973.
