The Komets couldn't do anything right that period and passes and shots bounced off everyone and always seemed to end up in the Fort Wayne net. Unbelievable. The Komets gave up three goals on seven shots, two of them on the power play, and fought back to make it 3-1 and seemed to have everything stabilized when a Rapid City pass out front bounced high in the air and about six players tried to dive on it when it landed. Derek LeBlanc scored for Rapid City, but the Komets seemed to be claiming he kicked the puck in. I couldn't tell because there were so many bodies around.
The Rush seem to be adjusting to the rough ice conditions better than the Komets. I think even if they laid the puck flat on the ice, it would bounce up on its side a few seconds later, that's how bad the ice is.
