Jan. 18, 1992, Komets 7, Indianapolis Ice 6: In the infamous ice-scraper game, the Komets trailed 5-1 heading into the third period before Bruce Boudreau and Scott Gruhl started the epic comeback. Boudreau had two goals and two assists and Gruhl two goals and an assist, but Sean Gauthier saved everything by coming off the bench to win the shootout.
Oct. 4, 1995, Komets 8, Chicago Wolves 7: Once trailing 7-3, the Komets scored three goals in the final 1:35 to tie the game. Lee Davidson scored on a penalty shot with 37 seconds left to force the shootout. ``I feel bad for the 3,000 fans that left (early),'' Komets Coach Dave Farrish said. ``They're going to read it in the paper tomorrow and think it was April Fool's or something.''

Feb. 4, 2011, Komets 5, Wichita 4 SO: On a 1-3-3 home skid and playing against the Central Hockey League's hottest team, the Komets entered the third period trailing 4-0 but Bobby Phillips scored to break through, and then Tab Lardner scored a power-play goal to give them hope. Sean O'Connor scored with 40 seconds left, and then Lardner nailed a backhand with 8 seconds remaining to force overtime. Nick Boucher stopped all four Thunder skaters in the shootout as the Komets won that 2-0.
