This is from Indiana National Guard Master Sgt. Steve Kingsley about Komets Kare Package from this year:
``Hey Blake, took some more donations down to Hoosiers Helping Heroes today. Today was also the groups monthly packing event. Kris and I stayed and helped pack boxes for a couple hours. HHH is a group of parents that have soldiers serving and a lot of them are even veterans. We packed 32 boxes today to be mailed out Monday. The group asked me how this whole program started and I told them the whole story from the beginning. Most of them were very impressed about your concern for our service members. The pack and store all the care packages out of Montana's home. The are some of the most caring people I have met besides our fans that gave a lot of stuff again this year. I sent you some pictures from the couple of nights and some of today's pictures. The group wanted me to extend a very warm invitation for you to come down and see what the group is all about and meet everyone. Today was a great day for me to help pack some of the donations that you and I have had the opportunity to collect from all the Komet Fans to send overseas. Please again accept my Thanks for what you and the Komets and the fans do to help our service members. I will let you know the next time I am going to help just to see if you can get away for a few hours. Thanks again Blake.''
