Doesn't look like the Komets are going to make a move unless someone makes them a tremendous offer in the last half hour.
``We talked to three or four different teams but just can't make anything that makes sense to us right now,'' General Manager David Franke said at 3:30 p.m. ``I don't anticipate anything happening in the next half hour. Al (Sims) and Gary (Graham) and myself have been talking to different teams but we can't find the deal that we feel... We're in first place in our conference and nobody is going to do us any favors. If we don't think we can really upgrade the club then we're not going to do it. We don't think the players who are available are any kind of an upgrade to what we already have. Right now teams are looking to get rid of guys they don't want and maybe those guys will be available on the waiver wire in a week or so. Our focus is going to be on trying to find a couple of amateurs we can bring in at the end of the year.''
