Some notes

Here's some preview notes from Friday's notebook:

The face-off time for the Komets' Feb. 28 game at Quad City as been moved from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m... For most of the season, the Komets had the Central Hockey League's best power play, but they have scored on only five of their last 51 chances over 14 games. Before holding Bloomington scoreless in seven chances on Tuesday, their penalty kill had also been struggling, allowing 12 goals in 52 chances over eight games. Over the last nine games, the power-play chances have been 59 for the opponents and only 35 for the Komets... Komets have had 11 5-on-3 advantages this season, scoring one goal, and opponents have had 20 two-man advantages, scoring eight goals... When Chris Auger scored three game-winning goals in a row last week, it was the first time a Komet has done that since J.C. Ruid early in the 2006-07 season. The last time before that was Peter Hankinson at the end of the 1992-93 season.
