No score after one

Shots were 14-12 in favor of the IceMen. I've seen both Jamie Milam and David Starenky playing forward. Lines early on were Thomas, Mele and Milam; Rizk, Schrock and Thorne; Chaumont, Auger and Starenky. Podshendyalov has skated sparingly, but seemed to get more ice time later in the period. Basically, they've been going with Henley and Bryant Molle, and DeAngelis and Lovell as the only defensemen. I'd guess Milam will play both forward and defenseman.

Komets have to stay out of the penalty box, and they've done a very good job so far of getting all five guys back into the defensive zone. They are basically sending all five guys in deep and daring the IceMen to fire away from outside. Offensively, they haven't generated much, but that's in large part because they are focusing so much on defense. Nick has looked sharp so far.
