Komets are dominating

It's 4-1 after two periods, and it really isn't that close. Fort Wayne leads in shots 34-15. Komets are doing whatever they want tonight, and Mallards have no answer. Frankie DeAnglis scored a power-play goal off a nifty Bobby Chaumont back-door pass, and Chris Auger picked the puck off a defenseman's stick skated around front and nailed a beautiful backhand over the shoulder of Mallards' goaltender David McKee who has gotten no help from his teammates.

Komets could have had a few more goals, too, as J.M. Rizk missed on a penalty shot, and Leo Thomas missed on a breakaway. Very impressive performance.

Evansville and Wichita are tied 1-1 halfway through the second period.
