The Central Hockey League announced today that Fort Wayne Komets goaltender Nick Boucher has been named the Oakley Central Hockey League Goaltender of the Week for the final week of the CHL’s regular season (March 19-25). This marks the second time this season that Boucher has won the weekly award (Dec. 13).

The Leduc, Alberta native was the catalyst to the Komets three win week and clinching the Turner Conference regular season championship. Boucher went 3-1 on the week with three straight wins in three days to end the season, all against Dayton. The veteran stopped 113 of 123 shots on the week (.919 save percentage).
