Strange calls -- both ways. Calls that you would not normally expect in a playoff game when you normally see refs stick to calling things on the puck or mostly off scoring chances. So far, Blazic has blown the whistle and players from both teams are looking at him wondering what he's called. No one is quite sure.
This is going to sound odd, but this has been one of the better games the Komets have played recently, even though they are trailing. They have controlled the puck and dictated the style of play for the most part. RC is only generating offense off its power play, and the Komets have had a couple of very good chances short-handed. Komets are doing a good job of following their gameplan and it's working. They just need a goal or two.
