Kalamazoo's Joel Martin has been suspended for one game and fined an undislcosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #332, Kalamazoo at Cincinnati, on Nov. 22. Martin is fined and suspended under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline as the result of his actions in the third period of the game.
Martin will miss Kalamazoo's game against Fort Wayne on Friday. Martin is 1-2-1 in five games against the Komets this season with a 3.16 gaa and .891 save percentage. Vellow vet Scott Munroe, 2.00 and .920, will likely get his second start overall and first of the season against the Komets at 5 p.m. Friday.
