Talked to the referees from the college game that was played earlier today (BG 2, RM 2). They said the ice was quite pebblely but everyone made the best of it. Here's a fantastic question no one has asked yet: How are the pro players going to be able to play in this using visors?
They stopped the college game halfway through the third period to shave the ice with the two Zambonis. Supposedly, everyone is saying the heaviest rain isn't even supposed to begin until 5 p.m. Wow.
