"I'm excited to come back, and I'm really looking forward to it," Rizk said. "This is awesome. When I got the call from Gary, I was pumped. Going to Fort Wayne makes it even better. If i was going somewhere else, I don't know if I'd feel as good about it."
How the season has gone in Rapid City:
"I was good to go in September, but it was tough to find a team. I got to Rapid City on Dec. 15. I got off to a really good start the first 15 games, and then we had some extra guys and weren't doing do well. Coach was going through a lot of lineup changes, and I started not playing so much. The last 10 games have been up and down. It's tough on a team that is fighting to get to .500."
On not being able to reach an agreement with the Komets two years ago:
"We just couldn't agree. It wasn't about me not wanting to play in Fort Wayne. We had a bad year the first year in the Coast and in Fort Wayne that is unacceptable. It wasn't about me not wanting to be there."
On his relationship with Gary Graham:
"I've always liked Gary. (This year's success) A lot of that comes from up top. It sounds like Gary is doing a really good job with the team. The team portrays their coach, and if the guys are doing that well, then Gary is doing a good job."
