what a blessing it is that we have so many legends still with us like Eddie Long, George Drysdale, Len Thornson, Lionel Repka, Robbie Irons, Chuck Adamson, Norm Waslawski, Cal Purinton, John Goodwin, and even those fans who didn't start following the team until 1990 or so, those players are now all in their late-40s and 50s. And Bob, can't forget Bob.
Take a moment sometime to tell them thanks. A lot of them are still hanging around, and we are truly blessed as fans and a community for what they have done and meant to us. They won't be here forever, and we're truly lucky that the Komets are still here to keep finding the next generation.
It's a day to be thankful as well as sad.
