I just saw where the Boston Bruins fired coach. The PERFECT replacement would be John Torchetti who lives in Boston, speaks Boston, IS Boston. I'll bet he knows as much or more about the Bruins' players as the team's current management because he watches every game.
He'd also be perfect because the city is down on the team, the star players such as Thornton and Samsonov have left and they are desperate for a winner. Don't those circumstances sound awfully familiar?
Torch is great at turning situations around. Lord knows he's had to do it enough. He brings emotion, stability, fire, plus, very important in this situation, he knows how to work with young players.
