Frenchy receives award

Komets goaltender Kevin St. Pierre was named the United Hockey League's Goaltender of the month for March today. St. Pierre went 9-4-0 with a 1.85 goals against average and .927 save percentage during the month, along with three shutouts.

He was also named the goaltender of the month for December. He has a 31-16-2 record overall and leads the UHL with a .922 save percentage while ranking second with a 2.25 goals against average.

Danbury's Drew Omicioli was named the player of the month after scoring 10 goals and 22 points in 11 games. The Komets nominated Colin Chaulk. Danbury's Shawn Collymore was named the rookie of the month. The Komets nominated David Carpentier.
