David Franke said today the Komets are looking at possibly bringing one or two in for a look, but nothing will happen before this weekend. All the players are unrestricted free agents unless they have a two-way contract with Norfolk of the AHL.
"I don't know where I'd fit new guys. They aren't going to replace any of our top six forwards so I don't know if anything is going to come of it or not. There is one defenseman that I might have interest in. I haven't made the call to the agent yet. Right now I'm just gathering information on him, and I may talk to the agent about him."
