Komets lose 6-4

Komets lost in Muskegon 6-4 despite two goals from P.C. Drouin and one each from Guy Dupuis and David Hukalo. Mathieu Curadeau had three assists. P.C. had four points.

Komets were playing without Colin Chaulk who had the flu and Olivier Legault who had a sore tailbone. Brandon Warner dressed but could not play. Jay Holladay played forward so the Komets went with five defensemen.

"We played well, but we only had one line that was together as what had been a regular line," Komets coach Al Sims said. "We need our other lines to chip in or it's tough for us to get to four or five goals. We need some more bodies. You can't continue to play with 13, 14 guys. It's hard on your team, especially with the traveling."
