After the Komets lost to Bloomington 4-1 on Sunday, Komets coach Al Sims had this to say:
``It reminded me of the start of the year when we played in here and lost after out-shooting them 45-15 or so. We're making goaltenders look a lot better than they really are. Everybody around here was saying Lacasse was the story, but it was just our inability to score. Last night in Flint we out-shot them 15-4 in the third period and it was the same thing.
``We're a little bit tired and came out a little bit flat, but the effort was there after that. It's just like the start of the year where we out-play a team and out-shoot them but couldn't out-score them. Every chance they had tonight was in the net. They must have had five chances all night and they scored four times.
``The travel was tough on our team. We got in at 2 a.m. last night and we left at 10 a.m. today so there wasn't a lot of time for rest. Thee travel was rough and they got excited and we just coudln't battle our way back.
``We've got a long week here to work on some things.''
Sims also said he didn't think Brandon Warner's knee injury suffered Saturday night was serious, but the Komets would know more as the week progressed.
