People who looked up in the sky this morning could glimpse a super sight: the biggest and brightest full moon of the year.
The so-called supermoon appeared 14 percent larger than normal early Sunday as our celestial neighbor swung closer to Earth. Some may think the supermoon looks more dazzling, but it's actually an optical illusion. The moon loomed larger on the horizon next to trees and buildings.
