This is from CHL Director of Hockey Operations Jim Wiley:
“It was determined after extensive review that Mr. Reaney did not target the head nor was primary contact made to the head. Mr. Reaney was given a major penalty by the on-ice official and no further disciplinary action was deemed necessary that would result in the player missing any game time. Mr. Reaney was fined and put on notice for the dangerous hit.”

Hit sombody has obviously never play in a physical game because if he had he was the one cheap shoting someone in the face and then faking an injury so he didnt have 2 return to the ice! Ive playd against guys like you. Stuff it! S.D. Hockey Rules!!!

Yeah, unfortunately, they were mostly minors.

You may want to check that stat again Frodawg. The Komets were tied with Colorado for the most in the Turner Conference at 1352. Mississippi lead the league with 1598 and Arizon was second with 1596.
