GLENDALE, AZ (August 1, 2012) – The CHL announced on Tuesday that the Laredo Bucks franchise rights have been transferred to the market of St. Charles County in Missouri and that the new franchise will compete in the CHL beginning with the 2013-14 season and will be called the Chill. The announcement was made on Wednesday at a press conference at the Arena Club Restaurant in The Family Arena.

The Komets announced Wednesday that four players have been added to the preseason roster. Returning champions from last season include Chris Auger, Brent Henley and J.M.
Just talked with David Franke and he said they are looking for a couple of more goalies, some defensemen and some size in particular, but they are looking for depth in all areas. They'll have some announcements later in the week when I believe they'll announce players like J.M. Rizk, Stephon Thorne and Brent Henley have signed.
He said there's nothing new on Mike Vaskivuo and it might be too late to get him a two-way contract with an AHL team. Vask is heading to France on Aug. 10.
