It's 3-1 Lake Erie after one. I would guess less than 1,000 people here. Not a lot of continuity in the game, but you can obviously tell the talent of the individuals on the ice.

Komets just got back Ian Barteaux, Paul Crowder, Angelo Esposito, Eric Faille, Thomas Frazee, Matt Krug and Pat Nagle. Also rookie goaltender Francois Tremblay who was a fifth rond pick by St. Louis in 2012.
Keep in mind MyTV is doing 18 Komets road games.

Here's a list of Lake Erie players on the road trip to exhibition games tonight in Grand Rapids and Saturday in Fort Wayne.
There are currently less than 2,000 tickets out for Saturday's game.
That day's training camp practice from 5-6:20 p.m. will be free and open to the public at SportONE/Parkview Ice House. Get there early for a parking spot.

If you need to scratch your hockey itch, the Fort Wayne High School Hockey Association season will start Friday at Parkview SportONE Ice House. Bishop Dwenger takes on Northrop at 4 p.m. followed by Homestead against Summit Cty at 6 p.m. and Leo vs Carroll at 8 p.m. in a rematch of last year's championship game.

The Squirt AA Komets Travel Hockey Team is holding a fundraiser at Chick-Fil-A at Jefferson Point from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesday. Kaleigh Schrock will be present.
A benefit for the family of the late Chris Burcham is going to be held from Noon to 6 p.m. Saturday at Peanuts Food and Spirits, 5731 St. Joe Rd. Among the items that will be up for bid are signed pictures of former Komet Kevin Kaminski, baseballs signed by Miguel Cabrera, Victor Martinez and Omar Vizquel, Fort Wayne Sports History books and a quartet of four-packs of Komets tickets. There will be a car and bike show, raffles, burnout competition, games, dj, food, drinks, fun.
