Here's what Al said

The Komets are 8-3-4 over their last 15 games, but that's not been good enough to help them climb in the standings.

``Until we start winning in this building, we're not really going to make any imprint on the standings,'' Komets coach Al Sims said. ``We've got to start doing it here. Winning on the road is great, but if you lose at home you're not making any gains.''

Komets up 3-2 after 2

They are playing pretty good defense, and so far referee Colin Kronforst hasn't had the same impact on this game as he had on Wednesday. Here's a fun topic for us to start with: Just guess whom I've heard is going to be the referee for tomorrow night's game?

They are on the way

They've been picked up by the bus from Bloomington. Best guestimate is the game starts around 9:15, 9:30 p.m. our time.

Game is delayed

The Komets are sitting in Covington, Indiana, about 100 miles out of Bloomington waiting for a bus to come from Bloomington to pick them up. They have been sitting there for an hour so far with no heat. There's no power on the bus, either. As soon as the Komets arrive, they are going to get 20 minutes to dress and a 15-minute warmup.

They are coming home after the game, on a bus that is driving over from Fort Wayne at this time.

``We still have another half hour before we have to huddle together and share body heat,'' Bob Chase said.
