Not much comment needed here except that TOP seems to be a great organization with a noble mission and with no hand out for government funding:

If you read the News and Tribune's section dedicated to Southern Indiana Purple Heart recipients in August, you likely remember the story of Randy Davis, who died while serving in Vietnam.

Davis — a New Albany native and U.S. Marine machine-gunner who was credited for 143 kills and 22 probable kills during his time in Vietnam — was just 18 years old when he was killed by an enemy mortar round.

His older brother, Larry Davis, has waged his own battle since his brother's death. He's fought to secure the medals and memorials owed to Randy, and Larry found out recently he would have another way to remember and honor his late brother.

Through the work and research of family members, Larry was put in touch with the nonprofit TOP Vietnam Veterans, which stands for Tours of Peace. One of TOP's missions is to locate dog tags of American soldiers lost during Vietnam and return them to their families.
