Since birthright citizenship is such an obvious contributor to the growing number of illegal immigrants, that would be a good subject for a presidential debate, and I would like to know where the candidates stand. Would any of them, for example, like to challenge Mike Huckabee's position?
Mike Huckabee wants to amend the Constitution to prevent children born in the U.S. to illegal aliens from automatically becoming American citizens, according to his top immigration surrogate — a radical step no other major presidential candidate has embraced.
Why, yes, one of the candidates would like to challenge Mike Huckabee's position, and that candidate is . . . Mike Huckabee:
Mike Huckabee yesterday contradicted his own top immigration surrogate, announcing he will not support a constitutional amendment to end birthright citizenship for children born in the United States to illegal aliens.
"Top immigration surrogate" -- quite a job description. Maybe I could get myself one of those.

Top Editorial Surrogate...
...has a nice ring to it.
Toss in an "Esq." at the end and you're all set.
