Boys in dresses

I guess I don't understand this story:

GARY, Ind. -- A male student who has worn women's clothes to school all year was turned away from his high school prom because he was wearing a dress.

The school said the lad was kept out of the prom not because he was gay but because the school has a dress code barring boys from wearing dresses. So, the school has a dress code for the prom, which is just a one-time thing with no lasting results, but not for day-to-day attendance of classes? Or it has the same dress code and enforces it at the prom but not during school days? Anyway you look at it, this is a school that is not in control, but what else is new?

My God, I feel so bad for the young gay man - at least he doesn't have any tattoos, ... that really would be a tragedy.

It could be worse. The could have a gay female sheriff deputy candidate running around in mens clothing-pant, suit, jacket. If a gay female sheriff wore a skirt, or dress, would she be a cross-dresser? just wondering.
Theres a lesbian hispanic sheriff in texas- no kidding! John Wayne must be rolling in his grave. At least he was a "straight shooter"
And what does hillary wear more? skirts, or suits? Who really wears the "pants" in the Clinton Household?
bored? google "lesbian sheriff", "gay cops"
or (female outlaws of the old west)
