In more than 40 interviews, Democratic candidates, consultants and party chairmen from every region pointed to internal polls that give Clinton strikingly high unfavorable ratings in places with key congressional and state races.
"I'm not sure it would be fatal in Indiana, but she would be a drag," said Indiana Democratic state Rep. Dave Crooks.
Speaking anonymously, a Midwest state chairman called Clinton a nightmare for congressional and state legislative candidates, and a congressman from the West said she is the Democratic candidate most likely to cost him his seat.
We love you, Hillary! Now, be quiet, and please, please, please, don't come to the state.

I am surprised you neo-cons aren't all in favor of a Hillary presidency. She is the establishment candidate. If you are in favor of a continuation of the Bush presidency the best thing you can get besides Bush is Hillary. She, contrary to popular opinion, is to the right of the rest of the democratic pack AND even some on the R side like Guliani and Romney. She supports neo-conservative issues like the war in Iraq, nation building, supply side economics, globalization, open borders and according to Forbes magazine the most pro big business candidate of them all regardless of party.
Since I've been some varying combination of conservative and libertarian for 30 years, I'm not sure where the "neo" comes from. I do not support open borders, as reading this blog should have told you, but supply side economics works. I support not getting into wars unless it is the last resort, but winning them is far preferable to losing them. Globalization is not something to support or resist; it is a fact of life. We have reached the point that capital is going to go wherever in the world it will get the most return, and that is not going to change.
I agree with you on Hillary. She is most to the right on most issues of all that field, probably the only Democrat I'd even begin to trust on national security. That doesn't mean she woludn't be a big-government, high-tax president. I have the same concerns about Giuliani -- OK on security, worrisome on domestic issues. I am comforted to hear him talk about federalism, WHEN I believe him.
