Criminal genius of the week:
A woman on probation for drunken driving was arrested when she showed up intoxicated to a court-ordered DUI awareness event, police said.
Kristen Hudson, 26, of Edinburgh, smelled of alcohol and was slurring her words when she arrived at the Advocates Against Impaired Driving panel Tuesday evening, police said.
The court-ordered event was mandatory for convicted or pending DUI defendants, and they were warned ahead of time that they would be checked for alcohol, organizers said.
But her blood-alcohol level was twice the legal limit, which makes it obvious that her thinking was impaired, so let's give her a pass, OK?

Yeah, Leo...let's all practice some "tolerance"...
(rolls eyes)
;)
Why isn't this woman in a hospital? If she's so badly addicted that she can't briefly sober up for a court appearance, then this is neither a moral question nor a legal problem. It's a medical problem.
