Hot hamster love

I ask you, what more could be asked of a companion?

. . . which make teeth-brushing sounds in the bathroom and sleeping noises in the bedroom. They also squeak when petted on the nose.

The description, alas, applies to Zhu Zhu Pets, the "must have" toy of the 2009 season, not human companions. It's nice to see Indiana is keeping up with the rest of the nation in going crazy over hot toys in short supply.  Police in Indy were called to Toys "R" Us stores on Black Friday when scuffles broke out over the robotic hamsters.

I wonder if the name is a takeoff on ZaSu Pitts? Probably not -- only a late-night-b&w-movie fan would even know of her. There is kind of a resemblance, though the hamster is definitely cuter.
