Anthony Martin of central Indiana is being charged with bigamy. He was married to Courtney for two years. Then he married Krystal, whose squad leader he was in the National Guard. Martin and Krystal were deployed to Iraq, and when they got back, he disappeared for a month.
Krystal filed for divorce.
Wife one, Courtney, discovered wife two when she found the divorce papers in the mail box.
Whoops! Dropped the ball there, Ace. "Bigamy" is such an odd crime to read about these days, isn't it? It's almost quaintly old-fashioned. Why bother with the formality when society no longer makes value judgments about people with multiple partners? If he'd just lived with the two of them, it might be a little more sordid in some people's eyes, but at least he wouldn't have been breaking the law.

Know what the penalty for bigamy is? Two wives! Ba-dum-dum! I'll be here all week.
Leo:
I somehow get the notion that squad leader Martin is NOT in line for becoming "officer material"...just a guess.
