Gee, do ya think?
Infants most at risk among children injured by elevator incidents, Indiana University study finds
INDIANAPOLIS -- In the first large-scale epidemiological study evaluating elevator-related injuries in children throughout the United States, researchers from the Indiana University School of Medicine and a colleague from Ohio State University report on the large number of these preventable injuries. Their findings have been published in an advance online issue of Clinical Pediatrics.
That has to be one of the oddest studies out there.

Obviously we need a telethon to help stamp out the scurge of elevator related injuries. Won't someone think of the children!?
When I stopped laughing, I tried like hell to figure out how infants and children get hurt in an elevator. The only thing that comes to mind is getting caught in the closing doors, which I would think could be remedied by A) teaching afore mentioned child to walk THROUGH doors. B)Have afore mentioned child make note, when doors close, STOP walking.
I'm all for the telethon, and frankly, I'm shocked there are no mandatory parenting classes in regards this obvious danger.
Oh the humanity!
