Henry Kissinger says we can't win in Iraq:
If you mean, by 'military victory,' an Iraqi government that can be established and whose writ runs across the whole country, that gets the civil war under control and sectarian violence under control in a time period that the political processes of the democracies will support, I don't believe that is possible.
Not the first time he's felt this way, is it? The only thing left to do is to send him to Iran and Syria to cut a deal while our troops are still dying in the field. He has the experience, after all.
