Lawless in Bloomington

If you had to guess which Indiana city would join the insane stampede to "boycott" Arizona, which one would it be? Right you are!

Isn't this a case of a local jurisdiction showing a complete disrepsect for the Constitution by intruding on something that should be the federal government's concern, i.e. interstate commerce? Just wondering.

What? You're in favor of the federal government doing something?
And of course you can't trust towns with big universities. They tend to be full of educated people, who, as we all know, are the worst kind.
BTW, anyone may boycott any private business, for any reason. A bus boycott ended a Jim Crow law. A general boycott of South Africa ended apartheid. These were legal, and they worked. There is absolutely nothing unconstitutional about them, or any similar boycott.

I loved Bloomington while I lived there. It was a blast. We all felt important discussing "important" topics. Course, then I grew up, cut off my ponytail, put away my bong and got a job.

I loved NYU when I lived in NYC. It was a blast. We all felt important discussing "important" topics. Course, then I grew up, still wear my hair long, replaced the bong for Stoli and cranberry, and continue with my job.

My ponytail and bong are long gone too. Finding a job in this economy has been a bit of a challenge, though. For your sake, I hope the housing market improves. I hate moving, especially at my age, but I may have to move out of the rust belt. The economy is a mysterious thing - I certainly can't figure it out. I'm sure things will improve, but nobody seems to know when. Oh well, I think it's time for a beer. That's MY stimulus package.
