Yeah, well, an NPR executive said bad things about conservatives and Republicans and the Tea Party, and went off on white, middle-class, gun-totin' xenophobes. Stop the presses.
But this was the most interesting part:
He also stated that NPR "would be better off in the long run without federal funding," a comment that is in conflict with the organization's position, NPR reported.
There you go. Sounds like an invitation to Congress to me. I confess to being a fan of some NPR programming, and I've appeared on the local station a time or two. But it's an obvious conflict for an organization that does news to get money from the federal government.
