Almost in?

I don't want to turn into the all-Mitch-all-the-time guy, but it certainly seems like he's almost in the presidential race. In an interview with POLITICO:

Daniels suggested three things could keep him from plunging in: his wife's concerns, the calculation that his party or the country aren't ready for his tough-love message or the emergence of another capable candidate.

[. . .]

He wouldn't say it, but those who have spoken to him indicate Daniels doesn't see anyone in the current GOP field focused on the fiscal issues that motivate him. If such a person doesn't emerge — and Daniels said he'll announce his decision “no later” than May and potentially in April — the chances of him running will increase.

He's gone from "I have no interest" to "I'll leave the window open a little" to "things that could keep him from plunging in, which is a pretty big journey. And he "doesn't see anyone" sufficiently focused on fiscal issues, that means he's been thinking about it a lot. And he sounds pretty confindent in the interview about being able to raise a lot of money.
